Course Objectives The aim of this course is to educate the students on public relations as a means of communication, its importance in both state and private sectors, its history, its function as a way of administration, campaings of public relations and ethics of public relations.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define the basic concepts of public relations
  • Explain the basic principals of public relations
  • Conceive the relation between public relations and business & administration
  • Distinguish the differences between institutional and non-institutional public relations
  • Define the essential process and patterns in public relations prosecutions
  • Classify the methods and means used in public relations
  • Put to use their information on public relations process in an event
Course Description In this course, the definition of public relations, its historical process, professionalization and basic principals in public relations, organization of public relations operations, institutional public relations, research in public relations, campaign planning in public relations, prosecution in public relations, valuation in public relations, means of communication and media relations used in public relations, exemplary situations and their solutions will be provided.
