Course Objectives The aim of this course is to make students acquire personal and professional sufficiency.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define the duty and responsibility of secretarial
  • Access the proper information sources and make use of the information technologies effectively when carrying out their profession
  • Acquire the ability of noticing problems that may occur in the workplace and finding solutions for them
  • Aim to access the information and gain the ability to optimize their profession and will be equipped to develop their professional progress
  • Ensure the proper placement of the files to the archives
  • Communicate effectively when carrying out their profession
Course Description Information about role and importance of secretarial in professional life, basic features needed for secretarial, secretarial services, making phone calls, meeting management, arrangement of appointments, hospitality, organizing business trips, responsibilities towards the manager, general definition of the secretarial, working fields, duties and responsibilites, professional ethics and organization, and professional image is provided in this course.
