Course Objectives The aim of this course is to give information to the students at vocational school level regarding the basic concepts and principles of constitutional law by handling the subjects such as the concept of constitution, organisation of the state, the duties, powers and functions of the state organs, the guarantees of the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will have a general information about the power and the limits of the power of state organ and fundamental rights and freedoms
  • Will have an idea about state of law, human rights and democracy.
  • Will be able to protect their constitutional rights.
  • Will learn the basic concepts and principles about Constitutional Law
  • Will have an idea about constitutional jurisdiction
Course Description The subjects such as; concept of constitution, the concept of constitutional law, elements of the states, types of states, forms of governmental systems, democracy and types of democracy, elections, fundamental rights and freedoms, foundation and functions of of Turkish Grand National Assembly, the duties and responsibilities of president and council of ministers, regulatory administrative acts of executive power holders, extraordinary governing procedures and constitutional jurisdiction will be the content of this course.
